HUNTING
We are fortunate in that our location affords some of Wyoming's finest hunting opportunities.
We are located in Area 40 (elk), Areas 51 and 159 (deer), and Area 116
(antelope). We are not licensed as hunting outfitters/guides. We do have available for rent our fully equipped base camp which affords terrific hunting access. We also offer limited horseback packing services.
We operate on
60,000+ acres of deeded, State, and BLM
land, and are minutes from the Big Horn National Forest (where general tags
rule!) The terrain includes open crop and grasslands, rolling and steep sagebrush hills, hayfields, narrow gumbo ridges, canyons, and creek bottoms.
Don Kassuelke (MN) - Fall, 2004
In the hunting world this area is known for its elk, mule
deer, mountain lion, and coyote. Also taken occasionally are antelope, bear,
and bobcats.
Expect to see lots of critters and dozens of birds including resident populations of pheasant, partridge, chukars, and sage grouse, and turkeys.
Neither we nor any other reputable outfit can promise
complete satisfaction, but we DO guarantee that you will leave with a most
memorable experience. If you have suffered a negative experience, please be
assured that we are determined that it NOT happen again here. We are fully
licensed and insured and our integrity is our most valued asset.
