SEEKING A WESTERN ADVENTURE?
Your visit with us can vary from simply participating in an afternoon trail ride to spending a few days and nights sleeping under the stars, eating steak and beans, and living the “Cowboy Life”. You can take part in actual ranch activities which may include irrigating, haying, branding calves, sorting cattle, moving the herd to fresh pasture or gathering cattle for shipping.

If you're contemplating the "cowboy way" in regard to moving cattle check this link for a helpful tutorial.

HUNTING
We are fortunate in that our location affords some of Wyoming's finest hunting opportunities.

We are located in Area 40 (elk), Areas 51 and 159 (deer), and Area 116 (antelope). We are not licensed as hunting outfitters/guides. We do have available for rent our fully equipped base camp which affords terrific hunting access. We also offer limited horseback packing services.

We operate on deeded, State, and BLM land, and are minutes from the Big Horn National Forest (where general tags rule!) The terrain includes open crop and grasslands, rolling and steep sagebrush hills, hayfields, narrow gumbo ridges, canyons, and creek bottoms.

Jason's first buck - Fall, 2000

In the hunting world this area is known for its elk, mule deer, mountain lion, and coyote. Also taken occasionally are antelope, bear, and bobcats.

Expect to see lots of critters and dozens of birds including resident populations of pheasant, partridge, chukars, and sage grouse, and turkeys.

Neither we nor any other reputable outfit can promise complete satisfaction, but we DO guarantee that you will leave with a most memorable experience. If you have suffered a negative experience, please be assured that we are determined that it NOT happen again here.

If you would like additional area information, you may access the Greybull Area Chamber of Commerce Web site. Click here for the Wyoming Game & Fish Department. Additional information on BLM lands in our area can be obtained at www.wy.blm.gov. Maps can be ordered at the BLM web site or at www.usgs.gov. For both, the area you need is "Burgess Junction".

Click here for Wyoming resident and non-resident hunting applications.
